Bandit Kingpin Seeks Peace After Losing Top Commander: A Tactical Move?

Notorious bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, is reportedly seeking peace after the death of his top field commander and cousin, Kachalla Yellow Danbokolo. Turji, one of Nigeria's most wanted terror leaders in the North West, allegedly wants to discuss surrendering and entering into dialogue with the government of Zamfara, Sokoto, and Katsina States.  According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, Turji's sudden pivot toward peace may be directly linked to the loss of Danbokolo, who was the engine of Turji's terror network. Danbokolo's death has likely crippled Turji's operational capabilities, making it difficult for him to continue his violent activities.  A source familiar with the group's structure revealed that while Turji was the public face, Danbokolo led the fighting forces, ran logistics, and enforced authority in forest corridors. Without Danbokolo, Turji's operational muscles are severely weakened.  Makama advises caution, warning that any engagement wit...
