Two separate incidents occurred in Delhi, resulting in the deaths of a mechanic and a laborer. The mechanic's fall occurred on Sunday afternoon while he was repairing an air conditioning unit on the 8th floor of Agrawal Cyber Plaza. Officials are investigating the exact sequence of events that led to the fall and whether adequate safety equipment and protocols were in place at the time.
The laborer, identified as Uday Bhan, was found hanging from a ceiling fan using a muffler-type cloth at his residence in Masoodpur Village. His brother, Hetram, noticed the incident through the front window and reported it to the police. The post-mortem was conducted at Safdarjung Hospital mortuary, and the body was handed over to the relatives.
Both incidents are under investigation, and authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The incidents highlight the importance of workplace safety and the need for adequate safety protocols to prevent such tragedies.
