Ugandan Diplomat Speaks Out After DNA Test Reveals Shocking Family Truth

Chris Rugari, a Ugandan diplomat and Zimbabwe's Consular General to Uganda, has broken his silence after a DNA test revealed that two of his three eldest children are not biologically his. Rugari, who married Joline Kanoheri in 2008, had believed he had a happy and faithful marriage. However, the discovery in September 2023 changed everything.

2008: Chris Rugari and Joline Kanoheri got married.

2010: Their first child was born, followed by two more in 2013 and 2015.

2022 and 2024: Two more children were born, with the last one's birth certificate not signed by Rugari due to emerging paternity issues.

Rugari described his relationship with Kanoheri as wonderful and conflict-free, with him actively involved in the children's lives. He signed their birth certificates, took them for immunization, bathed them, cooked for them, and financially supported their education. However, the DNA test results revealed a shocking truth about the first three children.

Tragedy struck when their 2-year-old son, Nganwa Rugari, died under unclear circumstances. Kanoheri reported that the child had fallen from the first floor of their home, but authorities found no physical injuries consistent with such a fall. This led to a murder investigation and Kanoheri's arrest.

Kanoheri and her house maid, Robinah Nabanja, were remanded to prison until May 6, 2025, on murder charges. Kanoheri claimed innocence, stating she couldn't murder her baby. The case will be heard by the High Court due to its capital offense nature.

Rugari has urged the public not to be misled by what he calls fabricated propaganda and disinformation. His main concern now is uncovering the truth behind his son's death. He has requested time to mourn, given the circumstances.

DNA Test Results: Two of Rugari's eldest children are not biologically his.

Marriage and Children: Rugari and Kanoheri have five children together, with the youngest born after paternity issues arose.

Son's Death: Nganwa Rugari died under unclear circumstances, with Kanoheri arrested for murder.

Court Proceedings: Kanoheri and her co-accused are remanded until May 6, 2025, with the case to be heard by the High Court.

Lagos Police Debunk Rumors of Boko Haram Arrests in the State

The Lagos State Police Command has officially denied recent reports claiming that hundreds of Boko Haram suspects were arrested in different parts of Lagos. In a statement released on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the report was completely false.
