A woman identified as Chizy, who was recently accused of infidelity in a viral iPhone 16 related scandal, has publicly refuted claims that she was ever married to her accuser.
The controversy gained widespread attention after a man alleged that his “wife” abandoned their child to meet another man in a hotel. He claimed he had paid her bride price in December, implying that their relationship was formalized. However, in a video shared by user Chukeric on X, Chizy clarified that she and the man, identified as Heritage, were never married. She stated that they only cohabited for five years without any traditional or legal marriage ceremonies. “I am not married. No one should address me as a married woman. He never paid my bride price, and we never held any form of wedding,” she said.
Chizy went on to accuse Heritage, a single father, of repeatedly abusing her during their time together. She claimed he physically assaulted her, cheated on her with multiple women, and even lodged his baby mama in hotels while criticizing her for interacting with the same woman.
She admitted that she intentionally met another man in a hotel as an act of retaliation, and said she has no regrets about her actions. Chizy also highlighted the sacrifices she made during the cohabitation, including helping Heritage grow his store and supporting him financially and emotionally. Despite her efforts, she alleged that he never appreciated her contributions, instead continuing to pursue other women and sharing explicit content with them.
“I owe him nothing because we were never married. If he claims otherwise, let him produce evidence of any marriage,” she said firmly.
Her statements have reignited online debates about cohabitation, relationship expectations, accountability, and the difference between public appearances and private realities. The viral incident underscores how social media can amplify personal disputes and obscure the complex circumstances behind them.
