Music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, has opened up about the deep emotional toll of losing his mother and how her passing reshaped his outlook on life, family, and forgiveness.

In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, the father of four reflected on the pain he has carried since his mother’s death in June 2024, describing the loss as the most transformative experience of his life.

Teebillz, who is known for his candor and vulnerability when speaking about personal struggles, wrote that his mother’s passing left a void he could never fill.

He admitted that while the pain broke him, it also “woke something” inside him  a renewed sense of awareness and responsibility toward the people he loves.

In his words:

“After all the pain and loss, losing my mother broke me, but it also woke something in me.
To my kids, their mothers, my family, and my loved ones… I’m sorry for the hurt I caused.
I’m trying… and trusting God to fix what I can’t.”

The emotional message has since resonated deeply with fans and followers, many of whom offered words of encouragement and prayers in the comments.

For Teebillz, who has been open about his battles with mental health and personal growth, this post marks yet another moment of honesty a reminder that grief often leads to introspection and healing.

Lagos Woman Missing After Message About Wrong Car

A Nigerian man, Mayor Johnson, has raised an alarm about the disappearance of his sister, Esther, in Lagos State.
