Billionaire politician and husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, Prince Ned Nwoko, has publicly addressed rumors linking him to a young woman in a viral video.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Nwoko clarified that the woman in question had visited him as part of a delegation from the Peace Ambassadors initiative, led by Ambassador Dr. Adejo Sule, and that their meeting was strictly official.
He explained that photos were taken during the courtesy visit, as is customary whenever he receives guests, but some individuals have twisted the images for clout and misinformation.
“It is unfortunate what social media has become — a space where moments are easily twisted for clout and misinformation,” Nwoko wrote.
The politician described the rumors as “mischievous and malicious,” emphasizing that he has no personal or private relationship with the woman circulating online.
He also warned that any further spread of the false narrative would lead to legal action, citing the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act of 2015.
“Let me state clearly and unequivocally that the news being propagated around her visit is entirely false. I do not have any form of personal or private connection with her,” he stated.
“Any further propagation of this false narrative will attract appropriate legal action.”
