Lady Shares Messages from Ex-Husband After Leaving Abusive Marriage

A Nigerian lady has shared the messages she received from her ex-husband after summoning the courage to walk away from their marriage.

According to her, the ex-husband allegedly subjected her to abuse and infidelity throughout their relationship. After relocating abroad and officially ending the marriage, she began receiving messages from him accusing her of selfish motives and criticizing her decisions.

The woman, identified on TikTok as @binyelum24, shared screenshots of the messages, in which her ex claimed she only married him to achieve personal goals.

In one of the messages, he wrote:

“You have moved on because you are in the UK and that’s the reason for all this. If you are in Nigeria, there’s no way you would be saying all these things… You married me to achieve your personal goals and then leave… all you can think now is to leave because you have gotten what you wanted.”

Lady Expresses Relief and Encouragement to Women

While sharing her experience, the lady described her time in the marriage as the hardest phase of her life. She expressed immense relief for leaving and encouraged other women to recognize their worth.

She captioned her post:

“POV: You finally summoned courage to leave your abusive and cheating ex-husband. Dealing with a narcissist is the hardest thing anyone could pass through. I thank God I survived and left in peace and not in pieces. It’s high time women start knowing their worth.”
