The Ekiti State Police Command has appealed to members of the public for assistance in finding Miss Olatoye Olayemi, a 38-year-old woman who has been declared missing.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abutu Sunday, ANIPR, Olatoye, who lives on Odode Street in Ilogbo, Ido-Ekiti, reportedly left her home on March 15, 2025, heading to an unknown destination and has not been seen since then.
According to the police, all efforts made so far by her family members and friends to locate her have been unsuccessful, prompting the Command to officially open an investigation into her disappearance.
Miss Olatoye is described as light in complexion, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, without tribal marks, and she speaks Yoruba fluently.
SP Abutu stated that the Command is doing everything possible to uncover her whereabouts and urged any member of the public with useful information to come forward.
“Anyone who knows her whereabouts or can provide relevant information should please report to the nearest police station or call +234 906 405 0086,” he said.
The Command also called on media organizations, community leaders, and the general public to help spread the information widely, emphasizing that community cooperation could play a vital role in reuniting Olatoye with her loved ones.
