Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas are spending more than just screen time together. The duo, who are set to co-star in the upcoming thriller Deeper, recently took a cozy weekend trip to Vermont, sparking fresh speculation about the nature of their relationship.
The pair, photographed holding hands during their stay, were spotted exploring several local landmarks, including the beloved Billings Farm & Museum in Woodstock. According to an insider, the 63-year-old Mission: Impossible actor and the 37-year-old Ballerina star “have become incredibly close,” both personally and professionally.
“Ana loves Vermont. It’s her place to rest and recharge,” a source said. “She was excited to host Tom and show him around. She took him to all her favorite spots.”
Among those favorite spots was the historic Billings Farm, where Executive VP Frances McLaughlin recalls seeing the pair “out and about like our other visitors, visiting the garden.” The farm offers interactive activities like herb picking, butter making, and tastings of local cheese, maple syrup, and ice cream — a fitting low-key escape for two of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars.
Cruise also accompanied de Armas to a favorite local bookstore in downtown Woodstock. According to sources, the Blonde actress “really enjoys spending time with him,” and Cruise “continues to be a huge support — both personally and professionally.”
The actors first drew attention back in February 2025 when they were seen together during a night out in London. At the time, sources played down romance rumors, describing the pair as “just friends.” However, sightings of them have steadily increased — from helicopter rides in England, to a boat outing in Spain, and even a shared box at an Oasis concert in London.
De Armas, who recently ended her relationship with Manuel Anido Cuesta, is now focusing on her collaboration with Cruise and director Doug Liman on Deeper. A source close to the production described their connection as a “special work relationship,” with Cruise serving as a “mentor” to de Armas.
“Tom is crazy hardworking and she’s very excited to work with him,” the insider said. “She calls it an opportunity of a lifetime.”
Appearing on Good Morning America in May, de Armas teased more joint projects in the pipeline: “We’re definitely working on a lot of things — not just one but a few projects with Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie and, of course, Tom. And I’m so excited.”
At the New York premiere of Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, Cruise returned the praise: “Her ability is incredible. There’s an actress that has dramatic chops, someone who’s comedic, very, very talented.”
While neither has officially confirmed a romantic relationship, their Vermont trip suggests that Cruise and de Armas’ bond goes beyond the camera — whether it blossoms into romance or remains a deep creative connection, it’s one that has Hollywood watching closely.
