A 13-year-old girl, Ruby Wallwork, has gone missing in the Kearsley area of Bolton, leaving her family and authorities desperate for her safe return. Ruby was last seen around 11 pm on Friday night and was reported missing at 8 am on Saturday morning. The police have launched an investigation and are "becoming increasingly concerned" for her wellbeing and safety.
Ruby's mother, Amy Bell, has issued a heartfelt appeal to the public, saying, "Ruby is a vulnerable young girl, our family miss and care about her so much. We just want her back home safe with us where she belongs." The family is urging anyone with information to come forward and help bring Ruby home.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a team of officers is actively searching for Ruby, reviewing CCTV footage, and speaking to her friends and family. Detective Chief Inspector Helen Bagnall said, "If anyone has any information, no matter how small, or thinks they may have seen Ruby, we would urge them to contact us." The police believe Ruby may have caught a train, and they're working with neighboring forces and British Transport Police to locate her.
