Nigerian Women in Mali Prison Cry Out for Help: "We Need Freedom"

A group of Nigerian women incarcerated in Bamako Prison, Mali, have shared a heart-wrenching video revealing the poor conditions they face and the substandard food they are fed. In the video, the women protest and demand their freedom, expressing frustration over their living conditions and the poor quality of meals. 

The women, numbering many, can be seen shouting in unison, calling for freedom and pleading to be released so they can live a better life outside prison walls. One of the women says, "This is the food they feed us here in Mali. We're suffering. We need freedom"

The video has gone viral, sparking concern and outrage among online users. Many have taken to the comment section to express sympathy and call for intervention. Some have questioned the government's role in the situation, while others have expressed sadness and frustration over the treatment of the women.
