Man Beaten to Death in Taraba Over Alleged Affair with Pregnant Woman

A young man, identified as Victor James, has been beaten to death by residents in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, over allegations of an extramarital affair with a pregnant married woman. The incident occurred in Samunaka community and has sent shockwaves through the city.

According to eyewitnesses, James and the woman, who is reportedly seven months pregnant and married to a well-known local businessman, Alhaji Bash, were discovered in a compromising situation in the woman's home early on Sunday. The discovery triggered outrage among community members, who allegedly doused James with hot water and brutally assaulted him. He later succumbed to his injuries.

The disturbing incident has left residents in shock and sparked heated debate on social media. Community leaders and residents are now calling on law enforcement agencies to launch a full-scale investigation and ensure that justice is served for all parties involved.
