40-Year-Old Man Brutally Murdered in Niger State, Nigeria

A 40-year-old man, Abubakar Tayi Mohammed, has been brutally murdered by unknown assailants in the Rabba area of Mokwa, Niger State. The incident occurred on Friday along Abattoir-Agric School Road, where the deceased was macheted to death and his belongings stolen.

According to the Niger State Police Command's Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, the attack happened on the night of June 6, and the attackers made off with the victim's handset and Bajaj motorcycle. Police operatives from Mokwa Division responded promptly, and the corpse was taken to the General Hospital, Mokwa.

The police have confirmed that efforts are ongoing to apprehend those behind the killing. SP Abiodun assured that the command is working tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justice. As the investigation continues, the community is left to grapple with the aftermath of this senseless violence.
