Enugu Native Doctor Claims Innocence in Video Statement

A video has surfaced online featuring Obi Levi Obieze, a man recently accused of ritual killings and kidnapping in Enugu State. In the footage, Obieze vehemently denies the allegations, stating, "I am not a native doctor. As I'm talking to you now, I'm homeless." He claims to have been falsely accused due to his appearance and associations.

Obieze's arrest followed the discovery of a 13-year-old girl in a pit in his house, sparking a community uproar and accusations of ritual activity. However, Obieze maintains that he doesn't have a shrine and has been sleeping on the streets.

The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many questioning the accuracy of the accusations. Human rights advocates have urged authorities to ensure due process and avoid a trial by media or mob justice.
