Arukwe, renowned for his role in "Sugar Rush" (2019), has been married to Barbara Boyd-Arukwe for nearly a decade. Barbara serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Sports World Nigeria, a prominent fitness and sports brand based in Lagos. The couple is parents to two daughters, whose identities they have chosen to keep private. In an interview, Arukwe expressed his desire to shield his family from public scrutiny, stating, "I wanted to keep my family away from my work. I felt they wouldn’t be able to live normal lives if I brought them into the public eye, and I didn’t want that for them."


Career Highlights

Before his acting career, Arukwe worked at Etisalat Nigeria until 2012. He ventured into acting in 2013, initially earning modest fees. His breakout role came in 2017 as Inspector Sam in "Sergeant Tutu." He has since featured in several films, including "A Tribe Called Judah" (2023), "Code Wilo" (2019), and "Smash" (2020). Arukwe's versatility has earned him nominations at prestigious awards such as the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and the Best of Nollywood Awards.

Lagos Woman Missing After Message About Wrong Car

A Nigerian man, Mayor Johnson, has raised an alarm about the disappearance of his sister, Esther, in Lagos State. Esther was supposed to travel from Ajah to Epe to stay with a family friend in preparation for her JAMB exam.
