Lagos Woman Missing After Message About Wrong Car

A Nigerian man, Mayor Johnson, has raised an alarm about the disappearance of his sister, Esther, in Lagos State. Esther was supposed to travel from Ajah to Epe to stay with a family friend in preparation for her JAMB exam. Lagos Police Debunk Rumors of Boko Haram Arrests in the State

 The Lagos State Police Command has officially denied recent reports claiming that hundreds of Boko Haram suspects were arrested in different parts of Lagos. In a statement released on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the report was completely false. He confirmed that the command immediately launched an investigation to verify the claims and found no evidence supporting them. According to the statement, police teams visited trailer parks and communities mentioned in the report. Leaders, drivers, and residents in those areas confirmed they had neither seen nor heard of any Boko Haram-related arrests.
