Monalisa Chinda mourns the loss of her mother, Dame Comfort Franca Chinda

The Nigerian entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Dame Comfort Franca Chinda, the mother of renowned Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda. The heartbreaking news was announced by Monalisa herself on Instagram on Sunday, a day dedicated to celebrating mothers.

In a poignant tribute, Monalisa shared an image of a lit candle and expressed her grief, gratitude, and love for her late mother. "Rest in peace, Mom – Dame Comfort Franca Chinda. You will forever be in our hearts," she wrote.

Monalisa also acknowledged her mother's selfless devotion to their family, her unwavering love, and the principles she instilled in them. "I'm thankful for the time we shared, for your selfless devotion to our family, for your unwavering love, and for the principles you instilled in us," she added.

The announcement drew an outpouring of condolences from Monalisa's colleagues and fans, who flooded the comment section with messages of support, prayers, and sympathy for the actress and her family during this difficult time.

Lagos Woman Missing After Message About Wrong Car

A Nigerian man, Mayor Johnson, has raised an alarm about the disappearance of his sister, Esther, in Lagos State. Esther was supposed to travel from Ajah to Epe to stay with a family friend in preparation for her JAMB exam. According to Johnson, Esther sent a disturbing message to her other sister, stating that she was "scared, feeling sleepy, her eyes itchy, and might have boarded the wrong car." Lagos Police Debunk Rumors of Boko Haram Arrests in the State

 The Lagos State Police Command has officially denied recent reports claiming that hundreds of Boko Haram suspects were arrested in different parts of Lagos. In a statement released on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the report was completely false.
