A tragic incident has shaken the town of Ongata Rongai in Kenya, where a motorcycle operator, Geoffrey Ouma, was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife in their home. The brutal attack is believed to have been sparked by a dispute over money.
According to eyewitnesses, Ouma, fondly known as Jeff, had just returned from work, earning significantly less than usual due to heavy rainfall affecting business. His wife confronted him about the household items they lacked and demanded that he provide the money to purchase them.
When Ouma was unable to meet her demands, an argument ensued, and his wife, in a fit of rage, grabbed a knife from the kitchen. Sensing danger, Ouma attempted to flee but slipped and fell on the floor. His wife then stabbed him in the chest, ending his life instantly.
Neighbors arrived at the scene, but it was too late. Ouma was pronounced dead. The couple had been married for around five years and had a child together.
The Ongata Rongai Police have arrested the wife in connection with the murder. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the devastating consequences of domestic disputes and the importance of seeking help and support in times of conflict.
