Guerrero’s younger sister, Gris Guerrero, previously shared that Kylie Jenner played a significant role in supporting the family during this difficult time. She covered the costs of the funeral and provided ongoing support, ensuring that Guerrero received the farewell he deserved.
“She has kept an open line. Anything we need, any questions we have, she has been there for us,” Gris said.
A GoFundMe campaign launched by Guerrero’s family initially set a goal of $80,000 but ultimately raised $96,000. The funds will be used to bring his belongings home and cover other unexpected expenses related to settling his estate.
Guerrero’s passing came shortly after he traveled to Dubai to style Jennifer Lopez’s hair for her performances in Abu Dhabi. His unexpected death left many in mourning, including Jenner, who shared an emotional tribute on social media.
“Jesús was more than my friend—he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” she wrote. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side.”
She also shared a series of photos capturing moments from behind-the-scenes at photoshoots, dinners, and birthday celebrations, reflecting on their years of friendship.
Guerrero, known for his work with stars such as Katy Perry, Demi Moore, Addison Rae, and Dua Lipa, was widely recognized for his artistic talent and impact in the beauty industry. Just weeks before his passing, he had traveled to Paris with Jenner as part of her glam team for Fashion Week.
His legacy as a visionary hairstylist and beloved friend will continue to inspire those who knew him.
