Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu of Alleged Plot by Trump to Remove Him from Office

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alleging that United States President Donald Trump is plotting to remove him from office.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that President Trump has already caged Tinubu politically and is gradually positioning himself to influence events that could lead to the Nigerian leader’s removal. According to Ayodele, the assistance and support being extended by the United States to Nigeria in the fight against insecurity are not entirely altruistic, but are part of a broader strategy to penetrate the country’s political structure.

Primate Ayodele alleged that the American president is resolute in his intention to unseat Tinubu, stressing that the agenda goes beyond helping Nigeria address its security challenges. He claimed that regardless of whether Nigeria succeeds or fails in tackling insecurity, Trump remains focused on achieving his ultimate objective.

The cleric further warned that the Nigerian president may not yet be aware of the full extent of the alleged plot, urging him to remain vigilant. He called on Tinubu to take bold and decisive political steps to counter what he described as a looming external threat, noting that failure to act could result in serious political consequences.

According to Ayodele, President Tinubu must strengthen his strategies and remain proactive to avoid being overwhelmed. He cautioned that if the alleged plan succeeds, Tinubu could find himself at the losing end of political developments, with his removal openly celebrated by opponents.

As of the time of filing this report, neither the Presidency nor the United States government has reacted to the claims.
