Adekunle Gold and Simi Welcome Twins, Expand Their Family

Popular Nigerian music stars Adekunle Kosoko, widely known as Adekunle Gold, and his wife, Simi, have joyfully announced the arrival of twin babies, marking another milestone in their growing family.

The couple shared the exciting news on Wednesday, with Simi posting on Snapchat, “Asked God for another child and he blessed me double.” While the gender of the twins has not been revealed, fans and followers have already begun celebrating the happy news across social media platforms.

The announcement comes after weeks of speculation. In December, Simi shared a video on Instagram captioned, “From my baby, for my babies,” which showed her with a noticeable baby bump. The post fueled excitement among fans, who eagerly anticipated the couple’s next child.

This new addition to the family arrives just weeks after Simi highlighted a scene from Adekunle Gold’s newly released music video, “My Love is the Same,” further engaging fans and stirring anticipation.

Adekunle Gold and Simi, who married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration, are widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most admired entertainment power couples. Their partnership, both personal and professional, has been marked by a series of hit songs, high-profile performances, and a shared presence in the Nigerian music scene. Both artists were previously signed to X3M Music before achieving mainstream success independently.

The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare Kosoko, affectionately called Deja, in May 2020. Deja’s arrival was celebrated widely in the entertainment industry and among fans, and now the family’s joy has doubled with the arrival of the twins.

Fans, fellow celebrities, and industry colleagues have taken to social media to offer congratulatory messages, expressing excitement for the couple and their new additions. Many have praised the couple for their enduring love, musical synergy, and ability to inspire admiration as a role model family in the entertainment world.

With this new chapter, Adekunle Gold and Simi continue to solidify their legacy not only as talented artists but also as one of Nigeria’s most beloved couples, celebrated for both their music and their family life.
