A heartwarming video has captured the emotional reunion between a Nigerian mother and her son, who left the country seven years ago to join the United States Army. The soldier returned home unexpectedly, leaving his mother overwhelmed with joy and disbelief.

The footage shows the young man arriving at his mother’s apartment. At first, she seemed unsure of his identity, struggling to recognize her grown son after years of separation. Moments later, recognition dawned, and the mother erupted in celebration. She leapt into his arms, hugged him tightly, and offered prayers of gratitude to God for his safe return. Overcome with excitement, she even rolled on the floor in disbelief, clearly overwhelmed by the long-awaited reunion.
