Timaya Falls on Stage While Attempting to Lift Fan During Performance in Delta

Nigerian singer Inetimi Alfred Odon, popularly known as Timaya, experienced a brief mishap on stage after attempting to lift a plus sized woman during a live performance in Delta State.

The incident occurred during his performance of the song Ukwu at the Gbaramatu Christmas Carnival, a popular annual event that attracts large crowds. According to eyewitness accounts and videos circulating on social media, the singer attempted to lift a female fan while performing when the situation unexpectedly went wrong.

In the now viral video, the woman jumped onto the singer mid performance as he tried to carry her. The move caused Timaya to lose balance and fall on stage, momentarily interrupting the show. The crowd reacted with a mix of shock and excitement as the incident unfolded.

Despite the fall, Timaya quickly got back on his feet and continued performing, drawing loud cheers and applause from the audience. His ability to recover and proceed with the performance was met with admiration from fans at the venue.

The video of the incident has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with many users praising the singer’s professionalism while others commented humorously on the unexpected moment. As of the time of this report, Timaya has not made any public statement regarding the incident.
