The All Progressives Congress, APC, may be on the verge of a significant internal crisis as Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader and founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a strong warning about a possible division within the ruling party. The cleric revealed during a recent prophetic session that he foresees a situation in which two prominent APC leaders could abandon the party if urgent steps are not taken to restore unity and transparency within its ranks.
According to Primate Ayodele, the early signs of internal conflict are already visible, and the party leadership must act quickly to prevent what he described as a potentially damaging political fracture. He noted that the APC has been dealing with pockets of internal disagreements, unresolved rivalries and structural weaknesses that could escalate if not properly managed.
The cleric emphasized that the departure of two highly placed figures within the APC would not only weaken the party’s organisational strength but also create embarrassment for its national leadership at a crucial time. He stated that such a development could disrupt future plans, affect the party’s influence across key states and reduce its chances of maintaining stability in upcoming political contests.
Primate Ayodele urged APC stakeholders to address the brewing issues with honesty and commitment. He advised party executives to engage in sincere reconciliation efforts, transparent dialogue and internal restructuring to rebuild trust among members. According to him, the crisis is still preventable, but only if leaders choose unity over personal interests.
He further explained that political parties often ignore early warnings, leading to divisions that could have been avoided through timely action. In his message, he called on the APC to adopt proactive measures that prioritise peace and internal cohesion, adding that the survival of any political organisation depends on its ability to manage conflicts before they escalate.
As of now, the APC leadership has not responded to the cleric’s prophecy. However, political observers note that the party has faced numerous internal battles in recent years, and some believe this warning may reflect the growing pressure within its structure.
The situation has sparked renewed discussions among supporters and analysts who are watching closely to see how the APC will handle the concerns raised by Primate Ayodele.
