“No DNA Test, No Burial” – Mohbad’s Father Insists on Paternity Test Before Burial

The father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad has made it clear that a DNA test is the most crucial factor before his son can be laid to rest. Joseph Aloba, father of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has repeatedly emphasized that the family’s stance remains unchanged, the burial will only take place once the DNA test for Mohbad’s child is completed.

This statement comes as the singer’s final funeral arrangements have been delayed, generating public attention and discussion. The delay is linked to the ongoing dispute over the paternity of Mohbad’s child, as well as the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his controversial death. Fans and well wishers have expressed their anticipation for the burial, but the family insists that legal and personal confirmations must be completed first.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Aloba said, “The DNA test is the most important thing. Once it is done, Mohbad will be buried.” His remarks underline the importance of the paternity test as the determining factor for the timing of the funeral.

The insistence on a DNA test highlights the sensitivity of the situation, as the family navigates legal considerations alongside public scrutiny. Mohbad’s death has already sparked numerous discussions online, and questions surrounding the paternity of his child have further complicated the process. The family’s firm stance ensures that all matters are resolved before the burial can proceed, reflecting their commitment to clarity and due process.

As the investigation continues and the family awaits the DNA results, public anticipation remains high. The outcome of the test will not only confirm the paternity of the child but also determine the timing of the final rites for the late singer, bringing closure to his loved ones and fans alike.
