A heartbreaking video circulating on social media shows a man identified as Mogaji Adebanjo pleading for help from inside a kidnappers den. Adebanjo, who said he works with Vine Crest College, was abducted on his way to Abuja while traveling along Kabba Road on Sunday.
In the emotional clip, he revealed that his captors are demanding N100 million for his release. Fighting back tears, he begged Nigerians and authorities to intervene, stressing that his life is at stake.
“My name is Mogaji Adebanjo. I am from Ondo State. I work with Vine Crest College. When I was going to Abuja yesterday, I was kidnapped along Kabba Road,” he said.
“They are demanding N100 million as ransom. Please help me. I do not want to die. I have a pregnant wife and a four year old son, and an aged father. Please help me.”
Adebanjo also mentioned that he hails from Imo Arigidi in Ondo State. The video has sparked outrage and renewed concerns over the rising cases of kidnapping across Nigerian highways.
