2Face Idibia’s Former Manager Confirms Singer Was Arrested in the UK After Altercation With Pregnant Wife

Former manager of Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Face” Idibia, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the singer was arrested in London after a heated altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.

The incident occurred shortly after the couple arrived in the United Kingdom for 2Face’s concert tour. The singer was scheduled to perform on October 2, 2025, but failed to appear. This immediately triggered rumours that he had been detained after a fight with Natasha, who is also a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly.

Speaking during a live Instagram session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, Kaka Igbokwe, who is the son of the late music legend Christy Essien Igbokwe, stated that the viral reports were accurate. According to him, everything people heard about the couple’s confrontation was true.

Kaka, who was part of 2Face’s London team and travelled on the same flight, explained how the confrontation unfolded. He said Natasha became upset after feeling abandoned at the airport when 2Face, surrounded by fans, walked ahead and entered a shop without noticing that she had stopped behind.

When the African Queen star realised she was no longer with him, he reportedly rushed back to her. The situation escalated as Natasha confronted him loudly. The altercation drew the attention of security officials, resulting in the singer being arrested and handcuffed.

A video of the arrest, posted by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, quickly went viral and reignited online debates about the couple’s relationship, the cancelled concert, and the growing concerns surrounding 2Face’s public appearance.

As of now, neither 2Face nor his management team has issued an official statement addressing Kaka’s claims or the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
