2Face Idibia’s Brother Speaks Out Amid Ongoing Marital Drama With Natasha Osawaru

Hyacinth Idibia, brother of Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia, has broken his silence amid the escalating saga involving the singer and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru.

Hyacinth took to Instagram to share a short but emotional message that immediately drew public attention. In his post,

he wrote:

“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow, it’s unfolding in real time. Painful reality, allow us save you Oyinem. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”

The message comes after weeks of growing tension between 2Face and Natasha, which reportedly began during a visit to the United Kingdom. According to reports, the conflict escalated to the point where Natasha was heard raising her voice at the singer during a heated altercation, which required police intervention and led to the temporary arrest of 2Face.

The situation resurfaced publicly during a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, where Natasha openly clashed with 2Face on camera. The viral video quickly spread across social media platforms, shocking fans and sparking nationwide discussion about the state of their marriage. Many viewers expressed concern for the singer’s well-being and questioned what might be happening behind closed doors.

Hyacinth’s Instagram message is widely interpreted as a sign that 2Face’s family is stepping in, possibly out of concern for the singer’s emotional and mental health. The post has since gone viral, with social media users commenting on the seriousness of the situation. One wrote, “If his own brother is saying this, something serious is happening.” Another said, “Family stepping in is the right move. 2Face needs support now more than ever.”

The intervention of a close family member highlights the role families play in mediating conflicts and offering support, especially when private matters become highly publicised. Fans and observers are closely monitoring the situation, hoping that the Idibia family’s involvement will help calm the tension and bring clarity to the marriage.

This ongoing drama also raises questions about the balance between personal privacy and public accountability for celebrities. While the couple’s private challenges are now part of public discourse, the hope remains that support from family members can lead to resolution and healing.
