Maryanne Moghalu, Nigerian activist and wife of former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu, has questioned why the lawmaker representing Delta North at the National Assembly, Senator Ned Nwoko, is still in the Senate.

This came after Regina Daniels alleged that Ned Nwoko abused her in their relationship.

According to Premium Times, Regina Daniels said that:

"Dearest ex husband, thanks for breaking the crown you put on my head. No one knew us like we did, and I trusted you with all of me, even with my tape, which I pray never sees the light of day. Foolish me."

Reacting, Maryanne Moghalu said Ned Nwoko should be under investigation by now following the allegations from his estranged wife. She said he is not supposed to be in the Senate.

According to Maryanne Moghalu on her official X account:

"Please why is Ned Nwoko still in the Senate? Is everyone deaf and dumb to the wild accusations being made by his estranged wife? Who is investigating?"
