What God Told Me About Former Nigerian Army Officer and Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Gumi, Ayodele Reveals
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has shared what he described as a divine revelation concerning former Nigerian Army officer and Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi. Speaking in a video posted on Facebook on Friday, November 7, 2025, Ayodele explained that God revealed serious warnings about Gumi’s activities and urged him to exercise great caution in the coming months.
According to Primate Ayodele, God showed him that Sheikh Gumi is currently under close observation by the United States. He stated that the cleric’s words and actions will be carefully monitored and may attract international scrutiny. “This man should be very careful. The Americans are watching him closely. Whatever he says or does now will be noted. He must be guided by wisdom because his actions will attract international attention,” Ayodele said.
The prophet noted that Gumi’s name will continue to feature in national discussions about security, religion and politics in Nigeria. He advised the Islamic cleric to be mindful of his statements and relationships, warning that some foreign elements might attempt to use his image or influence to create tension or division in the country.
Primate Ayodele further emphasized that Gumi’s spiritual and social influence across Northern Nigeria makes him a figure of interest not only within the nation but also among global observers. He cautioned that any misinterpretation of his words or actions could have far-reaching consequences. The cleric urged Gumi to seek divine direction, maintain peace and avoid being drawn into political or religious controversies.
Ayodele concluded by encouraging Sheikh Gumi to remain prayerful and alert in all his engagements. “He must not take sides or be emotional in his comments. This is a time to watch and pray,” the prophet declared. He added that with humility, wisdom and a focus on peace, Gumi could continue to play a positive role in promoting unity and stability in Nigeria.
