Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy West, and his wife have celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Monday, November 11, just hours after Sammy’s release from detention.
His wife took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message, reflecting on their love journey, the challenges they have faced, and the strength of their bond over the past two years. In a joint post on their Instagram pages, she described marriage as a daily commitment built on patience, forgiveness, communication, and unwavering effort.
“Exactly two years ago, November 11, 2023, we said ‘I do’ not just to a wedding but to a lifetime of showing up for each other. A year later, I can say with a full heart that marriage is more than a ceremony or a title. It is a daily choice. A choice to love when it is easy and especially when it is not, to communicate when words feel heavy, to forgive quickly, to laugh often, and to keep growing together,” she wrote in part.
She went on to praise Sammy, describing him as a strong, loving, and supportive husband. “To my partner, Samuel Ojeogwu (Sammy West), my strong man, my fighter, my best friend, my answered prayer, thank you for choosing me every single day, for loving me with patience, for walking beside me with faith, and for making this first year more beautiful than I could have imagined,” she added.
