Reactions Trail Kate Henshaw’s Praise for Military Officer Who Stood Up to Wike

Social media erupted on November 11 following Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw’s commendation of a young military officer who stopped the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, from accessing a disputed land.

In a video that went viral online, Wike reportedly called the officer a fool, to which Lieutenant A. M. Yerima calmly replied:

“I won't shut up. You cannot shut me up. We won't kill anybody. I am not a fool. I am a 3-star general. I am acting on orders.”

Reacting to the officer’s composure, Kate Henshaw took to her verified X account to praise him, stating:

“That soldier needs to be commended for his composure.”

Her post quickly attracted numerous comments from social media users, many of whom echoed her sentiments and praised the officer for his professionalism and courage.
