A former schoolmate of Lieutenant A. M. Yerima, the viral naval officer who recently clashed with Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, has shared new insights into his personality.

The revelation comes amid the continued online buzz surrounding Yerima, following a viral video that captured his heated confrontation with the minister at a land site in Abuja.

Former Schoolmate Speaks

A lady identified on X (formerly Twitter) as @danTiana42 revealed that Yerima was her senior during their primary school days.

In her post, she shared three key traits that she remembers about him, describing Yerima as intelligent, fearless, and bold.

Her tweet read:

“OMG, I know this army guy. His name is Mohammed Yerima. He was my senior in primary school. He has always been very intelligent, fearless, and bold. Take your flowers, Mohammed.”

Her comment was in response to another X user, @AgbaDonDee, who had urged the Nigerian Army to reward Yerima for his composure and professionalism during the confrontation with Wike.

Yerima’s Sister Reacts

In a related post, Yerima’s sister also took to social media to express her pride after watching the viral video of her brother.

She wrote:

“My brother made me so proud. We are just here eating koko and akara with this video on repeat. I promised to do his laundry for a month.”

The online conversation around Lieutenant Yerima continues to dominate social media, with many Nigerians praising his calmness, courage, and sense of duty in the face of political pressure.
