Phyna Pens Emotional Tribute to Late Sister Ruth Otabor Months After Tragic Accident

Reality TV star and actress Phyna has penned a heartfelt tribute to her late sister, Ruth Otabor, who tragically lost her life in a truck accident near Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, in August 2025.

In a deeply emotional post shared on her verified Instagram page, @unusualphyna, the Big Brother Naija winner expressed her pain, regrets, and longing for her sister, who passed away just days after completing her graduation.

Phyna wrote:

“Hey little sister, I hope you’re flying high with angels. Your death has opened my eyes to a lot and my ears to a lot. It really breaks my heart that it took you dying for me to see everything around. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t get justice for you.”

The reality star went on to admit that she may never forgive herself for all that happened, expressing how deeply Ruth’s loss has changed her outlook on life.

Her touching tribute has since drawn an outpouring of sympathy from fans, celebrities, and colleagues, who filled her comment section with comforting words and prayers for her late sister’s peaceful rest.

The tragic accident that claimed Ruth’s life shocked many of Phyna’s followers, as the sisters were known to share a close bond.
