No Woman Should Suffer Because She Chose To Leave A Marriage, Actress Mary Remmy Njoku Writes To Regina Daniels
Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku has penned an emotional message to fellow actress Regina Daniels after the young star tearfully shared her struggles in a recent viral video.
In her post, Njoku expressed deep empathy for Regina, saying the video moved her to tears. She noted that Nigerians had watched Regina grow up on screen, from a child actor to a wife and mother, and it was painful to see her break down publicly.
“Dear Regina, watching your video this morning brought tears to my eyes. I practically watched you grow. In fact, all of Nigeria did. And seeing the woman you have become break down online truly breaks my heart,” she wrote.
Mary went on to share a heartfelt message as a mother, saying she could not imagine her own daughters facing such pain alone. “As a mother of two daughters, I pray that if they ever come online to cry for help, God forbid, and I am not here, may God raise an army to speak for them. Because this world can be wicked,” she added.
Addressing the issue of failed marriages, the actress emphasized the need for respect and understanding when children are involved. She stressed that regardless of the circumstances surrounding a breakup, real men must continue to respect the mothers of their children.
“When a marriage ends, real men understand that even if she stops being your wife, she never stops being the mother of your children,” Njoku stated.
She also urged women to show empathy and support rather than ridicule or mock others going through emotional or marital challenges.
Mary’s message has sparked widespread conversation online, with many Nigerians praising her for speaking out in defense of compassion, dignity, and womanhood.
