Rita Daniels, the mother of popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has shared a photo of her son Sammy in police custody, expressing profound heartbreak over the ordeal. The post, shared on her Instagram page, revealed the emotional strain the family is currently facing.

Sammy was arrested on Monday amid the ongoing marital disputes between Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. The arrest has sparked widespread concern online, particularly among fans of the actress and the Nollywood community, many of whom have called for justice and due process.

Regina’s brother, Sweezy, also addressed the situation on Instagram, accusing Senator Ned Nwoko of intimidation. He stated that Sammy’s case no longer appeared to be a standard arrest, highlighting alleged irregularities in how the matter has been handled. According to Sweezy, Sammy was reportedly denied access to legal aid, as well as food and water, while in police custody.

Following the arrest, Sammy was transferred from Lagos to Abuja. His parents reportedly visited him in the federal capital, seeking to secure his release and ensure his safety while the matter is being resolved. The family’s efforts have drawn attention and sympathy from many social media users who are concerned about his welfare.
