Married Man Denies Wife, Shares Playful Moment with Tems on Stage

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has gone viral alongside a married fan, Carlos, after a playful onstage moment during her performance at the Afro Punk Festival in Brazil.

A short clip from the concert showed Tems interacting with Carlos, teasingly saying, “I know your wife is here and I need to respect her,” as the crowd cheered. Despite her light-hearted caution, Carlos denied being married and proceeded to kiss Tems’ hand, drawing loud excitement from the audience.

Tems, appearing both amused and bashful, laughed off the moment, adding to the charm of the performance. The incident quickly became a trending topic across social media, sparking mixed reactions from fans.

On Instagram, user @ludi.cs commented, “But the wife gave consent 😂,” implying it was harmless fun, 

while @boy_adequate joked, “A finished man 😂😂.” 

Another user, @mr_diepriye, added, “If his wife permits the disrespect, who goes me to frown at this. Love this for them.”

The lighthearted exchange has since fueled conversations online about boundaries, entertainment, and respect in relationships. As of now, Tems has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
