Lady Who Bought House in Congo Shares Video of What She Found Instead of a House

A Congolese woman has taken to social media to share her surprising discovery after visiting a property she had purchased in Congo, only to find it was not what she expected.

The woman, identified on TikTok as @phyliciapearl, revealed that she had bought what she believed to be a house in her village, but upon visiting the property, she discovered it was an empty plot of land. According to her, she had been paying for the property under the impression that it was a building nearing completion.

@phyliciapearl explained that it was her mother who had encouraged her to buy the “house” back in 2019. She trusted her mother’s advice and anticipated seeing bricks, sand, and the structure of a home. Instead, her visit revealed nothing but an open plot of land.

In her TikTok video, @phyliciapearl tours the land while expressing her shock and frustration. She captioned the clip, “Finally touring the house my mom made me buy in Congo in 2019 that she said was almost done. And she really had me hype to see some bricks and sand.”
