Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has opened up about his experiences as a first-time father, sharing heartfelt moments and unexpected lessons from his journey into parenthood.

The Aníkúlápó star, who welcomed a baby girl earlier this year with his wife, Tiwi Oyetubo, gave fans a glimpse into the humorous and tender side of fatherhood through a recent Instagram post.

In a short video shared online, Kunle captured his daughter rolling on her side while he tried to secure her using pillows on a chair. However, his wife took it a step further — purchasing a baby helmet to ensure the little one’s safety.

Reflecting on the moment, the actor wrote:

“I thought I had all the wisdom, Baba mii! Anyway, Happy New Month!”

The post, filled with lightheartedness, quickly drew warm reactions from fans and fellow parents who praised his humility and playful spirit.

Since becoming a father, Kunle has been open about his evolving role, frequently sharing glimpses of his growing family.

In April, he celebrated his daughter’s first Easter, posting a photo of her lying on a Bible. On Mother’s Day, he publicly appreciated his wife, describing her as “an extraordinary mom.”

Later, on Father’s Day, Kunle shared an emotional video of his daughter getting her ears pierced — a moment he described as “transformative and heartwarming.”

Fans continue to applaud the actor for his authentic approach to parenting, noting how his posts reflect the real mix of joy, vulnerability, and learning that comes with fatherhood.

Remi’s openness proves that even celebrities discover new wisdom when life blesses them with the title of “dad.”
