Groom Sprints to Start Generator After Power Outage Interrupts Church Wedding

A lighthearted moment at a Nigerian wedding has gone viral after the groom rushed out of his own ceremony to switch on the church generator when power suddenly went out.

The incident, captured in a video widely shared on X, shows the couple preparing to sign their marriage documents when the church was plunged into darkness. Without hesitation, the groom stood up, left the bride seated, and ran outside to restore power.

Guests erupted in laughter and admiration as he dashed off mid-ceremony and returned moments later with the lights fully restored. The quick action allowed the wedding proceedings to continue without delay.

The humorous scene has drawn widespread attention on social media, with many viewers praising the groom’s quick thinking and practical response.
