Cameroonian footballer Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu, who plays for Dynamo Moscow as a winger, has been embroiled in a cheating scandal in Russia. The incident occurred at the Moscow apartment he shares with his partner, Russian influencer Nikki Seey, and has sparked widespread debate on social media.
Nikki arrived at the apartment with a female friend after learning that Ngamaleu had brought another woman into their home. When confronted, Ngamaleu allegedly tried to stop them from entering, claiming his "uncle" was inside. Unconvinced, Nikki called the police, who forced entry into the apartment and found another woman hiding inside, visibly embarrassed.
Ngamaleu, 31, has been included in Cameroon's squad for their crucial CAF World Cup Qualifier play-off against DR Congo on 13 November. The scandal has raised questions about his participation and the team's morale. Nikki has since moved out of the apartment and filed a complaint with local authorities.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some fans criticizing Ngamaleu's actions and others backing Nikki for her bravery. Dynamo Moscow has yet to release an official statement, while Cameroon's coach Marc Brys has included Ngamaleu in the national squad despite the controversy.
