Nigerian singer and songwriter Skales has opened up about a terrifying near-death experience that occurred after attending a party with popular influencer and blogger Tunde Ednut.
In an interview with Hip TV, the “Shake Body” crooner revealed that what began as a fun night out quickly turned into a horrifying ordeal.
According to Skales, he had joined Tunde Ednut for what he thought would be a simple evening of relaxation and entertainment. However, on their way back from the event, tragedy struck when their car was involved in a serious accident.
“Tunde Ednut dragged me to a party… next thing the car was in the air. People were struggling for their lives,” Skales recalled emotionally.
Describing the incident, the singer said the crash happened in an instant, leaving everyone in shock and confusion.
“It was like a movie. One minute we were laughing, the next minute the car was spinning. I thought that was the end,” he said.
The artist expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing his life and those of the other occupants.
“I’m just thankful we made it out alive. Things could have gone very differently,” he added.
Reflecting on the experience, Skales urged his fans and fellow celebrities to prioritize safety at all times.
“Sometimes, you just never know what can happen. Life is unpredictable. We go out to have fun, but safety should always come first.”
