Drama unfolded in Abuja on Sunday night after a side chick allegedly attacked her married lover, locked him inside her apartment, and smashed the windows of his car following an argument.
According to eyewitnesses, the chaotic scene occurred in a residential compound in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The incident was shared online by a woman identified as Dominic Rita Kever, who claimed it happened right in her compound.
Rita narrated that the altercation began when the man said to be the woman’s married lover refused to spend the night at the apartment he had rented for her. His refusal reportedly infuriated the side chick, who then attacked him with a turning stick, leaving him injured.
“This one happened in my compound,” Rita wrote. “The man rented a house for his side chick. Today they started fighting. The side chick carried a turning garri stick and nearly finished the man. She locked him inside and then ran outside to where his car was parked she gave the window glasses new designs.”
The commotion reportedly drew the attention of neighbors, who called the landlord and emergency responders after realizing the man had been locked inside the apartment. The landlord eventually forced the door open to free him.
When the man emerged, visibly shaken and bruised, he told residents that he was married and that the woman knew about his marital status. He explained that the fight started because she wanted him to sleep over, and when he refused, she turned violent.
“The man’s face was swollen with a touch of blood,” Rita added. “We just kept wondering what he would tell his wife when he gets home.”
Videos from the scene circulating on social media show a damaged car with shattered windows and neighbors gathered outside, discussing the drama.
