Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo reached another remarkable milestone in his illustrious career after scoring during his team’s 5–1 victory over Al-Fateh on Saturday.
The Portuguese superstar’s goal not only contributed to Al-Nassr’s emphatic win but also saw him become the first footballer in history to score 800 goals in club football.
The 40-year-old forward achieved this extraordinary feat while representing five different clubs over more than two decades Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo struck in the second half with a trademark powerful shot into the top corner, marking his fifth goal of the season for the Saudi Pro League side.
The strike was officially recorded as his 800th career club goal, further solidifying his status as one of the greatest goalscorers in the history of football.
Across his career, Ronaldo has scored:
- 5 goals for Sporting CP
- 145 goals for Manchester United
- 450 goals for Real Madrid
- 101 goals for Juventus
- 104 goals (and counting) for Al-Nassr
Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023 following his exit from Manchester United, Ronaldo has netted 99 goals in 112 matches across all competitions.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to defy age and expectations, maintaining elite performance levels well into his forties.
Ronaldo will look to extend his scoring record when Al-Nassr take on Goa in their upcoming AFC Cup fixture on Wednesday at the Fatorda Stadium in India.
