Man Devastated as He, Wife, and 3 Kids Deported from UK After Borrowing ₦20 Million to Relocate

A heartbreaking story has emerged of a Nigerian man who, along with his wife and three children, was deported from the United Kingdom after a visa dispute tore their family apart.

According to reports shared by TikTok user @the.story.town, the woman obtained a UK visa and her husband and three children traveled with her as dependents. Everything seemed fine at first until tension started to build within the family shortly after they settled in the UK.

Sources claim the wife began to assert control, allegedly threatening to remove her husband from the visa since he was only listed as a dependent. The issue reportedly escalated into a serious conflict, and she eventually took him off the visa, leaving his legal status uncertain.

In a twist of events, the husband reportedly discovered that a young girl had been added to the visa application, presented as their child even though she wasn’t. Feeling cornered, he allegedly contacted the UK Home Office to report the falsified information.

Unfortunately, the revelation backfired  immigration authorities investigated and decided to cancel the entire visa, leading to the deportation of the entire family back to Nigeria.

The man’s woes didn’t end there. It was revealed that the family had borrowed about ₦20 million to fund their relocation, a loan that remains unpaid following their forced return. The debt has now plunged them into deeper financial and emotional distress.

The story has gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions. Many netizens expressed sympathy for the man, while others warned about the dangers of combining family conflicts with immigration matters.

Some commenters also pointed out how desperation to relocate abroad often pushes families into making hasty, costly decisions without proper understanding of visa terms and consequences.
