Nigerian music superstar Davido has shared a heartfelt reflection on what he values most beyond fame and wealth.
In a recent interview, the Afrobeats icon revealed that genuine care and simple gestures — like someone asking how he’s really doing — mean more to him than material gifts or money.
“How’re you? Because you’ll just be stressed out. Just the little things. People just asking you how are you and then having 5 to 10 minutes talks could do a lot,” Davido said. “I obviously don’t want your money. Cause I’m up, you know. It’s just the little things that count.”
The “Unavailable” crooner explained that, despite his global success, he still craves authentic human connection — the kind that allows him to speak openly and find relief amid his busy lifestyle.

@MaxCrypt_ added:
“That’s one of the things we rich men suffer… Everybody is always after what they can get from us. They never care about how we are doing.”
@FolajeuwoNelson commented:
“I don’t like Davido but I like David Adeleke.”
@Web3Looper shared:
“Little things matter honestly. You don’t know what your friends or family are going through lowkey.”
