Nollywood actress Eve Esin has become a trending topic after a touching video of her mother’s marital advice at her wedding surfaced online.

The emotional moment took place during Eve’s traditional marriage to her Ghanaian partner, Suleiman, held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The event, filled with glamour and cultural display, brought together friends, family, and top Nollywood stars to celebrate the actress’s new chapter.

During the traditional drink exchange ceremony, Eve’s mother took center stage and gave her daughter heartfelt, faith-filled words of wisdom reminding her of her humble roots and the importance of prioritizing her marriage over fame.

“Please, I am begging you as your mother that you take Suleiman as your husband, love, friend, and confidant,” she said.
“He should be your gossip partner. I know you’re a celebrity, but you come from a humble family, a royal family you’re a princess.”

She continued by advising her daughter to embrace her role as a wife as she begins a new life in Ghana with her husband.

“As you go to Ghana with him, be the wife you’re supposed to be. God will bless you and your home. The most important thing is to make Jesus Christ the head of your family. Leave celebrity; I don’t want to see you on any platform on the internet,” she added.

Her emotional words drew cheers and applause from guests, many of whom were visibly moved by her sincerity. The clip quickly went viral, sparking conversations online.
