Nigerian comedian DeeOne has officially completed his attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon.
The entertainer began the marathon on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Pallazzo Lagos in Opebi, Ikeja, and wrapped it up on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
The current record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon stands at 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds, set by Benny Elbows from the United States.
While DeeOne has completed his performance, an official confirmation from Guinness World Records is still awaited to verify whether he has indeed surpassed the existing record.
The comedian’s marathon performance has drawn widespread attention online, with fans commending his determination and endurance. His record attempt follows in the footsteps of chef Hilda Baci’s viral cook-a-thon, which inspired a wave of similar feats across Nigeria.
