Blessing CEO Makes U-Turn, Says Breakup With IVD Was a Publicity Stunt

Blessing CEO and IVD

Popular relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, better known as Blessing CEO, has made a dramatic U-turn just hours after announcing the end of her engagement to Lagos-based auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna (IVD).

Earlier on Wednesday, Blessing took to social media to reveal that she had called off her engagement, stating that she was ready to sell or give away her engagement ring. The post immediately went viral, sparking widespread reactions from fans, bloggers, and followers who expressed shock at the sudden breakup.

However, in a surprising twist, the controversial media personality later admitted that the breakup announcement was only a publicity stunt.

In a follow-up Instagram post, Blessing confessed that she had been “losing her touch of controversy” and wanted to test the public’s reaction.

“I was losing my touch of controversy. Decided to test it again. I still got the magic. No be Blessing CEO again. Boom! Boo boo for life. They love bad news ooo. Wedding loading,” she wrote.

She went on to apologise to her fans and the media for the distraction, expressing appreciation for the constant attention she receives online.

“Sorry for the distraction, my people. Thank you to all the bloggers for always keeping me in the headlines. The wedding is still on course,” she added.

Blessing CEO’s stunt has since stirred mixed reactions across social media, with some praising her for her marketing genius while others criticised her for “toying with emotions” for clout.

Known for her bold and often controversial takes on love, relationships, and marriage, Blessing CEO once again proves that she knows how to keep the internet talking.
