Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has advised single ladies to focus on self-development and personal growth before aspiring to marry rich and caring men.
The actor shared this insight while reacting to the widespread praise his character Odogwu, a billionaire lover, has received from fans following the release of the movie Love In Every World 2. Many viewers had described Odogwu as their “ideal man” on social media.
Arukwe pointed out that the character of Chioma, portrayed by reality TV star Bambam, was already a hardworking and valuable woman before receiving support from her wealthy lover.
According to him, Odogwu did not have to question what Chioma brought to the relationship because her industrious nature was evident.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, the actor wrote:
“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
Arukwe’s post has since sparked conversations online, with many fans commending him for emphasizing the importance of self-worth and independence before marriage.
